This page describes the identification of the Ironcore motor components. The nameplates on the primary and the secondary parts identify the delivered unit.
A nameplate is attached to the back side of the primary. The plate shows the type code, the serial number, the weight, the protection grade, and the power supply data. An example of a nameplate is shown below:
A nameplate is attached to the upper side of the secondary. The plate shows the NORTH pole position on the magnet track. An example of a nameplate is shown below:
Note: Do not remove the nameplate from the secondary part. Removing the nameplate from the secondary part will void the motor warranty.
- The primary nameplate carries the type code and the serial number for ordering and identification. - The secondary nameplate shows the NORTH pole position on the magnet track. - Keep the nameplates visible; do not remove them from the secondary part. - For the identification of the delivered unit, refer to the type code and the serial number.
