Mechanical construction

This page describes the mechanical construction of the Motolab actuator. The actuator is based on a ball-screw drive with an ISO 15552 standard flange.

Notes on the mechanics

- The actuator is based on a ball-screw drive with a lead of 5, 10, or 20 mm. - The standard flange is ISO 15552; the output screw is M16x1.5 mm. - The repeatability is ±0.02 mm; the anti-rotation accuracy is ±0.4 degrees. - The stroke ranges from 100 to 800 mm (50 mm pitch); the rated thrust is 390–3000 N.
