Fault and Warning Messages

This page lists the fault and warning messages of the MBD servo drive. When a fault occurs, the drive displays the message, opens the OK relay, and switches off the final stage — the motor produces no torque.

Any error message is displayed on the servo amplifier display. All error messages result in the opening of the OK relay contact (C5/11-12) and in the switching off of the servo amplifier final stage (motor torque). At the same time the motor-holding brake will be activated.
While the R type alarms are resettable by the user, the B type alarms are blockers. In the latter case, to reset the alarm, it must be powered off and on again the servo amplifier (24V auxiliary power and main power).

- The table lists the fault codes, the alarm type (R = resettable, B = blocking), and the cause and remedy. - Type R alarms can be acknowledged and reset by the user after the cause has been removed. - Type B alarms require a power cycle (24V auxiliary and main power) to reset. - Always remove the root cause before resetting the alarm; a repeated alarm indicates an unresolved fault.
