Encoder output port - CN5

The CN5 port is the encoder output interface of the NL7 servo drive. It makes the encoder feedback signals available to an external controller, PLC, or motion interface — for example when the position information must be shared with a higher-level system or when a second device needs the same encoder signals.

The illustration below shows the CN5 connector with its pin assignment and the signal layout.

Wiring notes
