Kinetix 5700 Rockwell servo drive
This page describes the integration of the Reverso encoder with a Kinetix 5700 Rockwell servo drive. The encoder is connected through a Hiperface-to-DSL converter and the dedicated encoder cable.
In order to use it with the Kinetix 5700 servo drive, please use the Hiperface-to-DSL converter 2198-H2DCK in combination with our DE21500780-5M (5-meter Revenc encoder cable for the Kinetix servo drive) with a DSUB9 pin male.

Notes
- Use the 2198-H2DCK converter to adapt the Hiperface signals to the DSL interface of the Kinetix drive. - The DE21500780-5M cable is the 5-meter encoder cable with a DSUB9 male connector. - The table above shows the wiring between the D-SUB 9 pin and the terminal block of the converter. - Verify the pin assignment and the signal levels before commissioning; refer to the encoder configuration page for the settings.
