CODESYS integration
This page describes the CODESYS integration of the GDi-EtherCAT motor. The motor is integrated into a CODESYS project using the device description (ESI) file and an example project.
ESI File
The ESI file describes the device for the CODESYS configuration. Device Description XML for configuration: :nli_eth:nli_eth_servo.zip
CODESYS example project
The example project shows how to set up a single axis. Single axis project: :nli_eth:codesys-project.zip
How to integrate
- Import the ESI file into the CODESYS device repository. - Add the GDi-EtherCAT motor as an EtherCAT slave to the project. - Use the example project as a reference for the axis configuration. - For the PDO mapping and the mode of operation, refer to the CANopen over EtherCAT page.
