Connection system
This page describes the connection system of the GDM linear unit. The unit is provided with a power cable and a signal cable with PTC sensor connections.
Power cable - DE20001270-5M
The GDM linear unit is provided with two cables: a power cable and a signal cable with PTC sensor connections.
Note: The thermal switch connections can also be in black color. In this case the cross-section of these wires is smaller than the motor phase wires.
Signal cable
Note: This signal cable can be provided with the connector type used by the servo drive.

Wiring notes
- The power cable carries the motor phases and the thermal (PTC) sensor connections. - The signal cable carries the encoder signals (SIN/COS) and the 0 VDC / +5 VDC supply. - The thermal switch wires may be black with a smaller cross-section than the phase wires. - The signal cable can be supplied with the connector type used by the servo drive.
