Ethernet/Powerlink Gateway
This page describes the Ethernet/Powerlink gateway for controlling the integrated drive motors from an Ethernet/Powerlink master PLC.
In order to control the integrated drive motor with an Ethernet/Powerlink Master PLC, it is possible to use a standard gateway solution.
The NLi motor must be updated with the Extended PDO Firmware. Please contact NILAB for the right firmware.

The images below show the gateway and the configuration for the integration.
Notes
- The gateway converts the Ethernet/Powerlink master communication to CANopen for the motor. - The motor firmware must support the extended PDO mapping; contact NILAB to obtain the correct firmware. - Follow the gateway configuration shown above for the axis setup. - Refer to the CANopen page for the PDO mapping and the communication parameters.
