MBM Motors connections
This page describes the MBM motor connections on the MBD servo drive. The MBM motors are connected through the motor feedback connector; the wiring depends on the connector type of the motor.
The feedback from the motor is connected to the MOTOR FEEDBACK C6 connector.
STM+/STM- are the thermal sensor connections. HU, HV and HW are the commutation signals. A/B/Z are the incremental signals.
Please consider the correct pinout in respect to the connector type shown below.
Connection notes
- The motor feedback is connected to the C6 connector. - STM+/STM- are the thermal (PTC) sensor connections. - HU, HV, HW are the commutation (Hall) signals. - A/B/Z are the incremental encoder signals. - Verify the pinout against the motor connector type before commissioning; a wrong connection can damage the feedback or the drive.
